M Company Message Board

Hi, I saw the pic of my ex-father in law, SSgt J.A. Messick.  (You have the last name spelled incorrectly)  It looks exactly like a pic my ex mother in law had that was in her living room. Only he's heavier here.  must have been the rice.

I sent a message to a black horse site the other day.  They call him SSgt Avery,  I never knew he used his middle name and not his first name.  Cant wait to send the pic to my kids.

Just some background for you. He was a father of 6.  The youngest was only 2 when he passed away.  His wife raised them on her own, never remarried, and finally went to meet SSgt Messick this past january, They are now finally togetther, in heaven as well as in arlington.
