Title: Lost award Post by: bulldurham48 on February 13, 2017, 07:38:32 PM I was wounded on Christmas Eve 1967 on a small Company operation, was medevaced by the sqdns little bubble copter right by the side tank Mike 23 an taken to hospital at base camp. Was awarded a purple heart but never received it before I left the company be end of Mar 67. I know it came down to unit because Bob McNeal told me about it when I returned to Mike co in the first week of 1969, an he ask me if I had received it, he was still there as an SSG.If anyone can help me I would like to have it. Already 100% VA disabled so it is just for me and my memories.Thanks for any help. ALLONS
