The name on the roster is right the nickname Gene was given to me in Nam and it has stuck all these years i am almost sure it was Kent Knause who gave it to me.

Hello Gene
My wife remembered about a small paper back book that I brought back from Nam. "BABY AND CHILD CARE" by Dr. Benjamin Spock. Inside the front cover it has From Duck, Mike, Ken, & Gene. You'all knew that I was coming home to marry. I did and have one son. now I have a daughter-in-law, a grand-son and a grand-dauther. As you can see the book came in handy. A belated THANK YOU to the four of you. My wife also found a photo album with a few pictures from Nam. Do you remember "Duck" Mallary's first and middle name by any chance. Have you heard from any other M Co. troopers.
Thank you, "Joe"

FOR BILL MADEJ I ONLY REMEMBER THREE OFFICERS IN CO. M IN 1966 TO THE TIME I LEFT VIETNAM ON MAY 31, 1967. THE M CO. ROSTER HAS 1 LT. GERALD C. WERNER LISTED FOR 1966 TO 7 - 1967 AND 1 LT. THOMAS M. DUSZNSKI LISTED FOR 1 - 1967, AND 1 LT. JOHN M. MILLER LISTED FOR 1 - 1967. I ONLY REMEMBER CAPT. HERBERT C. HERTELL JR. AND 1 LT. JERRY L. STAPLETON AND 2 LT. JOHN M. CASTERMAN AS OUR COMPANY OFFICERS. DID I MISS SOMETHING OR WHAT. IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME.
ALSO, DOES ANYONE KNOW "MOTOR MITCH'S" WHOLE NAME. DOES ANY ONE REMEMBER THE NUMBER OF THE V. T. R. I SEEM TO REMEMBER M 28. I FOUND AN OLD PICTURE OF THE V. T. R. WITH ME KNEELING ON THE BLADE BUT IT'S FADED. I'M TRYING TO GET IT TOUCHED UP TO SEE IF I CAN MAKE OUT THE NUMBER JUST UNDER THE DRIVERS HATCH. IF IT CLEARS UP ENOUGH TO SEE IT, I'LL TRY TO SEND IT TO YOU TO PUT ON THE PHOTO GALLERY.
ARE YOU IN TOUCH WITH "GENE". I HEARD FROM HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES, THEN NOTHING.
ALSO, WHO IS M11THCAV IF IT'S NOT A SECERT OR SOMETHING. WAS HE WITH M CO.

Joe I can send you a M co roster if you like. It has most of the people that served with M co. Its not 100% accurate, but it gives most of the names,it will help you with the Lt's and Motor Mitchs name. It is lacking many names I think your is one of them.If you want it let me know where to send it.
m11thcav- is the administrator of the M co web page.

BILL, I WAS GOING THROUGH SOME OF MY OLD ARMY PAPERS AND FOUND A COPY OF MY SHIPPING ORDERS ASSIGNING ME TO M CO. AT FORT MEADE, MARYLAND. IT HAS ABOUT 28 PEOPLE ON IT BEING ASSIGNED TO M CO. SOME OF THEM YOU ALREADY HAVE ON THE ROSTER, ABOUT 12 ARE NOT. AS SOON AS I CAN GET SOMEONE TO HELP ME, I'LL TRY TO SEND THE LIST TO YOU.

To BILL MADEJ
BILL, ARE YOU IN TOUCH WITH GENE WALDRON? I'VE GOTTEN A COUPLE CALLS FROM HIM ON THIS SITE,THEN NOTHING. I'VE TRIED TO E-MAIL HIM USING THE E-MAIL ADDRESS LISTED ON THE M CO. ROSTER BUT THE E-MAIL COMES BACK AS ADDRESS INVALID. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM LET HIM KNOW THAT I'M TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM.
THANK YOU JOSEPH L J BOUDREAUX

TO M11THCAV OR BILL MADEJ
I'VE BEEN TRYING TO POST A FEW PICTURES FROM 1966 TO 1967 ON THE GALLERY. I KEEP GETTING AN "INVALID PICTURE SITE" EACH TIME I TRY TO SEND THEM. IS THE SITE STILL VALID. THE ADD A PICTURE SITE ASK FOR A TITLE, A DISCRIPTION AND A KEYWORDS. WHAT TYPE OF KEYWORDS { GIVE EXAMPLE} PLEASE. I SAW EIGHT NEW PICTURES POSTED IN JULY OF 2008 WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THE SITE IS STILL ACTIVE. DO YOU KNOW WHO POSTED THE NEW PICTURES.
M CO. VETERAN "JOE" BOUDREAUX
P. S. THANK YOU FOR "GENE" WALDRON"S INFORMATION. I GOT IN TOUCH WITH HIM.

For Bill Madej
Bill, can you delete a picture on the GALLERY for me. Imiss labeled the picture. The towns name should be Long Binh, not Vung Tau. If you can delete it for me I'll add it back on with the correct name.
Thank You "Joe"
