I am so hoping someone can Help.. I am searching for my daughter in law and her mother(Orlands daughter) .. Orland was a cook for M company.. I am trying to locate possibly a photo as they do not have any of him..or just a little something about him.. it would mean so much to them.. he was in the service 18 years.. died in Vietnam from a heart attack April 7,1970 in Company: M Trp  Regiment: 11th Cav  Batallion: 3rd Sqdr  Military Region 3 - Binh Duong.. He did a tour of duty in Vietnam and came home and went back.. He wasn't there to long the 2nd time when he passed away.. but possibly some knew him from before..Thank you Diana

may 18..Told a story.. they do have one photo of him.. he is the tall man..he was about 6' 10" ..I am posting it in gallery...also would like to know if there is somewhere I could look to find what year he was in Vietnam the first time or maybe places he has been stationed??? I believe its easier to find civil war information..which I have done on my great grandfather.. Thanks again..Diana

You seem to already have this info:

http://www.11thcavnam.com/KIAs/Lloyd.htm

Since he was with this unit less than a week, you might not get that many leads here. But, maybe somebody can point you in the right direction, since you probably have his personal info, as to how to get details of his other service from the government...

Dad, any ideas? Anyone else, I know that a lot of you have written the army for medals, benefits, etc... would they have the info  about his additional service?

Try the National Personnel Records Center  at http://www.nara.gov/regional.stlouis.html
It contains information on the types of records on file ate the NPRC, who is permitted to access those records
